Khariz Farm was registered with the corporate affairs commission of Nigeria in the year 2012 under the companies and allied matter act 1990 as a Limited Liability Company (LLC)
We started off modestly on a small piece of land by growing fewer crops with fewer manpower and as we consider improvement our watchword we always have been adapting with partners and working with skilful individuals whose congruence of ideas and innovations are helping us to achieve our set goals (long & short term).
Today we can confidently say that we are contributing our fair share in the Nigerian GDP by making sure that we are part of killers of the strangulating poverty and unemployment in Nigeria today.
In Living up to our slogan ‘‘improving Agriculture, improving lives’’ we are now growing variety of crops on a sizable land with modern implements and skilled manpower.

At Khariz Farm we believe that there is a better way to farm than the chemical status quo that has dominated the Nigerian landscape and food system . We believe that by working with the natural rhythms of the soil, plants, people and microorganisms we can grow excellent tasting food without the environmental and health risks that can accompany chemical intensive farming practices.
Local
We also know that locally grown food is fresher and tastes better! For these reasons we support and promote the idea of the locavore diet. We strive to buy our farm’s supplies and services from local vendors whenever possible. This helps stimulate the local food economy.
Training newer generation of Farmers
To rebuild our food system there is a need for transfer of knowledge, most young adults who are interested in farming for a career don’t come from farming families, and thus are in need of farm skill training in addition to farmland access.
